Everything you need to do if you’re planning to work temporarily abroad.

<aside> 📢 It is really important to note that this policy refers to temporary work from abroad. Although we support a remote first set up, and have team members across the world, we must ensure the company and you, are protected, and are abiding to local tax laws and employment regulations.

We understand the importance of flexibility and wellbeing, which is why we offer our team members the opportunity to temporarily work from abroad/anywhere (WFA) for 45 business days (70 calendar days) in a calendar year.

Why do we have this policy?

The Work from Abroad policy provides clear guidelines for team members wishing to work remotely outside their country of employment for a temporary period.

With team members in 60+ countries, it’s essential we know where everyone is working to remain compliant with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements.

Not following the rules could expose both Airalo and our team members to legal and operational risks, which is why we need some structure in place. While we encourage flexibility, this policy ensures that we can continue to support your remote work experience safely and efficiently.

What Counts as Temporary Work From Abroad?

Working from anywhere is about flexibility, but temporary means just that - it’s not a relocation. If you're working from a country (or, for US-based team members, a different state) that’s not listed on your HiBob profile, here’s what you need to know:
